A day after Kanhaiya Lal, a tailor in Udaipur was hacked to death by two men. Mohammad Riyaz and Ghouse Mohammad, for allegedly sharing remarks about the Prophet made by BJP’s Nupur Sharma. Rajasthan Minister of State for Home Rajendra Singh Yadav said Wednesday. That Ghouse Mohammad had visited Karachi in 2014 and had been making phone calls to Pakistan “for the last 2-3 years.”
Ghouse “went to Karachi in 2014 also spent about 45 days there,” according to Minister Yadav.
Then, in 2018-19, he traveled to Arab countries and visited Nepal several times. And for the last 2-3 years, he’s been calling 8-10 Pakistani phone numbers.”
“An ordinary person could not have committed the crime they committed. So the NIA has file a case, and their network will be exposed. And the guilty will be imprisone,” he stated.
As outrage over the killing grew also condemnation poured in from across the country. Gehlot cut short a visit to Jodhpur also returned to Jaipur. Where he chaired a meeting with top state officials to review the Udaipur case. Following the meeting, the CM stated. Preliminary investigation reveals that the incident was committ with the intent to spread terror and fear. Because they appear to have connections with international organizations, it is evident that the NIA will investigate the entire incident. He stated that the state’s Special Operations Group (SOG) and Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) would provide the NIA with “unconditional support” in its investigation.
