Rahul Gandhi’s sly dig at PM
Modi’s visit:
The former Congress President in a tweet wrote,” Patriotic Ladakhis are raising their voice against the Chinese intrusion. They are screaming a warning. Ignoring their warning will cost India dearly. For India’s sake, please listen to them.” Rahul’s tweet can also be seen as a sly dig on India’s Prime Minister, after PM Modi on Sunday, in his latest episode of “Mann Ki Baat” revealed that no one has intruded in India.
Congress leaders appreciate and
criticize PM Modi:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Ladakh on Friday to get a better view
of the situation of India-China’s border conflict. PM Modi also visited the army
personnel who were injured in the Galwan Valley – violent clash on June 15 with the Chinese
army, which martyred 20 Indian soldiers. PM Modi interacted with them and also
boosted the morale of army-men serving during this border crisis. In his third
live address in the week, PM Modi failed to name China and still took some digs
at it.
Congress leaders appreciated PM
Modi’s visit, but criticized him for not calling out China, and ignoring the
hurtful voices of Ladakhis, who claim that China has intruded the Indian
Territory.
