DPR (Detailed Project Report) is being prepared by National High-Speed ​​Rail Corporation Limited (NHSRCL) for running a bullet train on an 886 km long route between Ahmedabad-Delhi.

 As part of the DPR, NHSRCL recently surveyed 16 villages in Gandhinagar. The Gandhinagar Mahatma Temple will also be covered on this route. 

The train will run from Sabarmati to Khodiyar, Mahatma Mandir, Pethapur Highway, Aluva village border, enter Sabarkantha district, from Hintnagar to Dungarpur.

NHSRCL will set up 15 stations from four states – Gujarat, Rajasthan, Haryana to Delhi. The distance between Ahmedabad and Delhi will be completed in less than 4 hours as the bullet train operates at a maximum speed of 350 kmph and an average speed of 250 kmph.

The Ahmedabad-Delhi bullet train will start from the Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar.

NHSRCL has started the Ahmedabad-Mumbai bullet train project. Ahmedabad – The survey work for the Delhi route has been completed recently, and the process of submitting DPR is underway.

 After the government approves the DPR, NHSRCL will start land acquisition in 2022 and construction work for the project will begin.

 As this route mostly passes along the railway line and National Highway, the land acquisition work will be completed expeditiously, likely to be completed along with the Ahmedabad-Delhi Bullet Train Project Ahmedabad-Mumbai Bullet Train Project.

There will be three stations in Gujarat and nine stations in Rajasthan. On the

Ahmedabad-Delhi bullet train route will be three stations in Gujarat, 9 in Rajasthan, 2 in Haryana, and 1 in Delhi for 15 stations. 

Apart from Ahmedabad, stations will be set up at Gandhinagar, Himmatnagar, Dungarpur, Udaipur, Shahpura, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, Vijayanagar, Ajmer, Jaipur, Behrora, Rewari, Manesar and Dwarka (Delhi) on this route.

The bullet train project between Ahmedabad and Mumbai is currently underway, after which the 508 km distance between Ahmedabad and Mumbai will be completed in 3 hours.

 Similarly, after completing the bullet train project between Ahmedabad and Delhi, the distance of 886 km will be completed in 4 hours. 

Thus, with the connectivity of the bullet train from Delhi to Mumbai to Mumbai, the distance between Delhi and Mumbai of about 1394 km will be completed in 6 to 7 hours by bullet train.
