Union Minister Shripad Naik, who was wounded on Monday in a road accident in Karnataka is now out of danger and in a safe state.
Union Minister Shripad Naik, who has been injured in a road accident in Karnataka early Monday, claimed Goa’s Chief Minister, Pramod Sawant, was out of danger and also in a stable state. Minister Vijaya Naik’s wife, as well as his close assistant, died in an accident that occurred in a village in Karnataka’s Uttara Kannada district after sustaining injuries.
As Pramod Sawant tweeted:

Two minor operations were to be conducted tonight on him. As of now, there is no need to move him for treatment to Delhi,’ Sawant even said, as per ANI, while speaking to reporters.

Thus according to Ankola Police, the 68-year-old minister as well as the others who were injured, were transferred to Panaji’s Goa Medical Hospital in Bambolim. While offering prayers at Yellapur’s famous Gante Ganesha Temple, Naik, who is the Union Minister of State for AYUSH (independent charge), was returning when his vehicle encountered the accident, police in Ankola reported.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi had previously spoken to Goa’s Chief Minister Sawant to ensure that Naik’s treatment was properly arranged. Defense Minister Rajnath talked to the Chief Minister of Goa, too. “The State Government is adequately managing the treatment of Sripadji. Pray to God that Shripadji improves soon,” Singh tweeted in Hindi.
Karnataka’s chief minister, BS Yediyurappa, condoned the demise of Vijaya Naik, as well as Sadanand Tanavade, president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), also wishes the Union minister a rapid recovery.
