India’s box office is witnessing a remarkable run across multiple languages and genres. Ranveer Singh’s spy-thriller Dhurandhar: The Revenge, Akshay Kumar’s horror-comedy Bhoot Bangla, and Riteish Deshmukh’s Marathi historical Raja Shivaji are all putting up impressive numbers at the ticket window.

Dhurandhar: The Revenge Closes in on ₹1,800 Crore

Nearly two months after its theatrical release, Dhurandhar: The Revenge shows no signs of slowing down. The Aditya Dhar directorial earned ₹40 lakh on its 55th day, bringing its India net collection to ₹1,143 crore. The total India gross now stands at ₹1,368.98 crore, with overseas collections adding another ₹426.62 crore. The worldwide gross has reached ₹1,795 crore, placing it firmly within striking distance of the ₹1,800 crore milestone.

Raja Shivaji and Bhoot Bangla Hold Steady

Riteish Deshmukh’s directorial debut Raja Shivaji has crossed ₹20 crore at the box office, steadily cementing its place among the highest-grossing Marathi films ever made. Meanwhile, Bhoot Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan, collected ₹1.60 crore on its 26th day. With an India net of ₹161.70 crore and a worldwide gross of ₹244.98 crore, the film is on course to breach the ₹250 crore mark globally.

On the Hollywood front, Devil Wears Prada 2 starring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway delivered a stunning debut, grossing USD 433 million globally in just 12 days — surpassing the entire lifetime collection of the 2006 original. Mortal Kombat II also opened strongly, pulling in USD 63 million worldwide during its opening weekend.
