A car fell into a hole on Sunday after heavy precipitation caused part of a road in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar to cave in.

Heavy rainfall in Gujarat has led to significant disruptions, including a car falling into a crater and a road collapse in different parts of the state.

Incident in Gandhinagar

Earlier today, a part of a road in Gandhinagar caved in due to heavy rains, causing a white car to fall into the resulting crater.

Visuals shared by news agency PTI show the car submerged in the large hole formed by the road collapse.

Incident in Ahmedabad

In a separate incident, a road in the Shela area of Ahmedabad city collapsed following incessant rainfall. This incident, along with the Gandhinagar road cave-in, highlights the severe impact of the heavy downpour on the infrastructure in Gujarat.
