Pamela Chopra, the wife of the late filmmaker Yash Chopra, has passed away. currently, she was 74 years old. According to reports, she died after spending two weeks in a Mumbai hospital.
Pamela Chopra died on Thursday, according to acclaimed lyricist Javed Akhtar. Aditya Chopra is married to actress Rani Mukerji, and Uday Chopra is her son who survived her.
Pamela, also known as Pam among her industry peers, recently appeared in the 2023 Netflix series The Romantics. “Today Pam ji, the better half of Shri Yash Chopra, has passed away,” Javed Akhtar tweeted about her death on Thursday. She was a lovely lady.

According to multiple sources, for the past 15 days, Pamela was hospitalised in Mumbai’s Lilavati hospital and was placed on a ventilator; nevertheless, her health deteriorated, and she died on Thursday. Yash Raj Films have announced Pam Chopra’s last rites.
Pamela Chopra has received various accolades in memory of her late husband since his passing. Yash Chopra died due to multi-organ failure in 2012, just a week after being taken to the Lilavati hospital with dengue.
Yash Chopra, who turned 80 on September 27, 2012, transformed the face of romance in Hindi cinema, becoming a brand in Bollywood with hits such as Kabhie Kabhie, Silsila, Chandni, and Dil Pagal Hai during his five-decade career.
Aditya Chopra, the son of Yash and Pamela Chopra, is a famous director and producer. Their youngest son, Uday, dabbled in performing and is now a producer.
