According to his brother Snehasish, Sourav Ganguly is stable after testing positive for COVID-19.

Ganguly has received two vaccinations and has traveled extensively, participating in all professional activities.

Sourav Ganguly is stable, BCCI president, and former India captain tested positive for COVID-19. On Tuesday, his brother confirmed that he had been admitt to a city hospital as a precaution.

The former India captain and current BCCI president, according to Ganguly’s elder brother Snehasish, is in good health.

“Sourav is in good shape. Earlier this year, he underwent angioplasty. As a precaution, he was admitted to Woodlands,” Snehasish told The Indian Express.

Ganguly is immunize twice, but he travels extensively as part of his duties as BCCI President. He was admitt to the hospital twice earlier this year and had emergency angioplasty due to cardiac issues.

Earlier this year, Snehasish Ganguly tested positive for COVID.

Ganguly experienced similar chest pain 20 days later, prompting the second round of angioplasty on January 28. 2 stents were place in two arteries during the procedure. Dada returned to work in March after getting fully vaccinate against Covid-19.

On Tuesday, India reported over 6,000 new COVID-19 cases, with the death toll rising by 293.
