The iQoo Z5 handset with model number V2188A spot on the TENAA certification site is said to be a replacement variant of the phone. The listing also revealed several key specifications for this handset, such as its camera setup, storage configurations, dimensions, etc. According to rumors, on Friday, May 20, iQoo is expect to unveil a new iQoo Z5 model with a 6,000mAh battery. However, the Vivo-owned company has remained mum on the rumored smartphone. In September of last year, iQoo launched the iQoo Z5 in India.

Specifications for the new iQoo Z5

The new iQoo Z5 model could have a 6.58-inch TFT display with a full-HD+ (1,080×2,408 pixel) resolution, according to the TENAA listing. The detailed model is power by an octa-core SoC with a clock rate of 3.0GHz. Which is likely a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC. The phone is said to have up to 12GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. This iQoo device is said to run Android 12 with an iQoo UI skin on top. It is expecte to have 163.8775.339.21mm and weigh around 202.8g.

The new iQoo Z5 model is expect to have a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor also a 2-megapixel depth/ macro sensor for optics. On the front, some could be a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The device is enumerate as having a 5,880mAh battery. Which is expect to be increase to 6,000mAh for the final release. Digital Chat Station, a tipster, recently suggested that this smartphone could support 44W fast charging.

According to another report, iQoo may release this smartphone in China on Friday.
