Bigg Boss 16 is expected to premiere in October, and TMC MP Nusrat Jahan will be one of the contestants.
Though neither the show’s organisers nor the actress confirmed it. Bigg Boss has previously emphasised the importance of regional film industries in the country. The cast included Shehnaaz Kaur Gill, Himanshi Khurana, Sapna Chaudhary, Monalisa, and many others.
Who is Nusrat Jahan?
Nusrat Jahan, a well-known Bengali film actress, is a Lok Sabha MP from the Basirhat constituency.
She has been in the news since West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced her candidacy for Lok Sabha in the 2019 general election. Her marriage to businessman Nikhil Jain on June 19, 2019, in Turkey. Drew the attention of people from all walks of life.
Jahan later claimed that her relationship with Jain was merely a live-in relationship and that her marriage was not legal. The Kolkata High Court declare the marriage invalid because it was perform in Turkey. And the inter-faith marriage was not register in India.
Because of these controversies, she could be a compelling candidate for Bigg Boss 16.
Is Shehnaaz Gill the next Bigg Boss host?
According to another report, Shehnaaz Gill will co-host Bigg Boss 16 with Salman Khan.
Though no confirmation has been create, it is believe that Shehnaaz Gill will only appear with Salman Khan in the premiere episode. Shehnaaz Gill is currently filming for Salman Khan’s film ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan.’
