Today, women and children in the Danilimda police line have come out on the Road with plates in their hands and boards demanding pay hikes. On the other hand, even at the Shahibaug headquarters, women have protested with thali and Velan. Women have taken to the streets with the slogan that grade-pay is our right. Since morning, many police officers have been spotted chanting slogans in different parts of Ahmedabad. A 2 km long traffic jam has been created for the last one hour.

The agitation continued till late night on Monday when women staged a picket in Satyagraha Gandhinagar the next day. The next day, the police movement reached the city’s Satyagraha camp from the LCB office. On Tuesday, many women from the police family reached the Satyagraha camp and started picketing. Women were also seen at the Satyagraha camp late at night. He said that if the Home Minister comes out for a child, why not for the police? Not only that, but the women sitting on the picket also had dinner at the camp and reiterated their demand for higher grade pay in Gujarat as compared to other states.
