Kirtidan Gadhvi Patan Rokadiya Hanuman temple Dayro stuns everyone.

If you are a fan of Gujarati music, then surely you know the name Kirtidan Gadhvi, a Gujarati singer mainly famous for his songs and live performance. 

Recently we came across a video on the Internet of Kirtidan Gadhvi, where he was surrounded by so many chapatis and money. But why Chapatis? 

As Kirtidan was performing in Patan’s Rokadiya Hanuman temple and to worshipping lord Hanuman there, the devotees offered chapatis as a way of Prasad. 

As the temple completed the year, the Temple trust arranged the Lok Dayro, in which the devotees showered chapatis and cash on him. A person with ten Chapati or one rotlo was only allowed there.

But what is Dayro?

At some point in our lives, we listen to Bhajans in temples or at our homes on a loudspeaker. So today, let me introduce you to one of the very famous types of Bhajan, mainly famous in Gujarat, Dayro.

Dayro is a desi version of stand-up comedy, a stage singing program and much more…. It mixes folk stories, “bhajan”, funny talks, and stories about bright history…. It generally arranges for charity or as a cultural night. Music and singing are part of the narration of historical events. The best person in Gujarati Dayro.
