A lumpy virus is spreading across the state, many districts of the state are affected, and cows are dying. This virus is now leaking from the villages to the town and the cowshed. This virus has been observed in cattle for the last two months in Kaudah and the surrounding villages of Dhrangadhra taluk.

More than 200 cattle in this area are under the grip of this virus

which is now spreading in many regions, including Mayurnagar, Maftiapara, Khari Sheri, Kumbharpara, and Narshipra of Dhrangadhra city; more than 200 cattle are under the grip of this virus.

 Apart from this, the disease is also seen in Ram Tekri cowshed of Sayala Taluka Chorvira, where there are 175 cows. In the last six days, 20 cows have died. Veterinary doctors in the district have carried out vaccination.

Veterinarian doctor, treatment is going on by local youth

A lumpy virus has been observed in cattle for two months in a shed and the surrounding villages of Dhrangadhra taluka.

 Municipality member Pareshbhai Rabari said that along with the doctor, the treatment of animals has also started by the area’s youth. Veterinarian HN Solanki said that the treatment is ongoing.

11 cows died in 6 days in the Chorveera cowshed.

Fifty cows from 20 villages in Arerati Saila taluka are under treatment for lumpy disease among Jeevdaya lovers, an alarming condition of lumpy disease has been observed in cows of 175-cow cowshed in Ram hill of Chorveera (Than). 

In the last six days, 11 cows have died, and lumpy disease has been observed in 20 cows. The veterinary team started the vaccine operation with the news of the cow’s death.

Mahant Sagarambapu of the cow school is serving 175 cows, but for the last seven days, the cows have been showing Lumpy symptoms, and Sagarambapu was running for the vet as Lumpy was seen in 35 cows.

 Sayla Veterinarian Dr. Ghanshyambhai Gohil informed us about the death of 1 cow today. The team, including Sanjaybhai Lakum, started the vaccination work.

As cases of lumpy are increasing in Maldhari Sena district, cattle are in trouble. Under the leadership of Nagardas Bapu of Dudhrej Mandir, Satishbhai Gamara, and Punabhai Vakatar of Samast Maldhari Sena, the people of the society presented in the collector’s office. A team of doctors, 24 hours control room, helpline was demanded.
