Rahul Bhatt Calls Pooja Bhatt More Talented Than Alia Bhatt

Rahul Bhatt, son of filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, has said his sister Pooja Bhatt is more talented and intelligent than his half-sister Alia Bhatt. He made the remarks on a podcast with Siddharth Kannan, where he also spoke about his family ties and his meetings with Ranbir Kapoor.

A Civil Bond With Alia and Shaheen

Rahul mostly grew up with his mother, Kiran Bhatt, after his parents separated. Mahesh Bhatt later married Soni Razdan in 1986. Asked about his half-sisters Alia and Shaheen, Rahul described their dynamic as civil, adding that he respects and loves them. He said he is happy that Shaheen is now settled and feels Alia is blessed. The sisters, he revealed, call him “Sunny Bunny”. They meet mostly during festivals.

Speaking about his stepmother Soni Razdan, Rahul called her great and warm. However, he described their relationship as a formality, saying the calls he receives from the family are just that. He added that his bond with his real sister, Pooja, remains the most important one in his life.

Pooja Versus Alia

Comparing the two sisters, Rahul said he believes Pooja is the more talented and intelligent of the two. He praised her personality, style and eloquence. At the same time, he acknowledged Alia’s success, saying she has stardom and is different. He also credited her with versatility in the modern era of cinema.

Meeting Ranbir Kapoor

Rahul also spoke about Alia’s husband, actor Ranbir Kapoor. He said he has met him around five to seven times and described him as cool and respectful.
