But the College Romance team has been stuck in a legal battle; the FIR has been filed against the director and Producer of the series.

The Legal battle of College Romance:

The wording used in the web series “College Romance,” which is on the over-the-top (OTT) site TVF, has been deemed filthy, obscene, and vulgar and will deprave as well as corrupt the minds of young people, according to the Delhi High Court.

As per the single-judge bench of Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma, the language used in the episodes was so clearly vulgar that she could not hear it in the chamber without shocking those around her.

The verdict stated that this language “cannot be deemed the regularly spoken language used in our country” since it is not one that the nation’s young or other people of this country use.
