Parineeti-Raghav Wedding: Madhu Chopra Told to Delete Photos, Kejriwal Danced with Groom

Intimate details from actress Parineeti Chopra and politician Raghav Chadha’s September 2023 wedding at The Leela Palace Udaipur have resurfaced, painting a picture of a ceremony that was as heartfelt as it was tightly guarded. Vedic priest and singer Ankit Batra, who conducted the rituals, recently shared behind-the-scenes moments that fans never got to witness.

A Wedding Under Strict Privacy

Batra revealed that despite the grandeur of the venue, set along the serene banks of Lake Pichola in Rajasthan, the event enforced a firm no-photography policy. Even Madhu Chopra, mother of Priyanka Chopra and aunt of the bride, was asked to delete wedding pictures from her personal phone. The family was determined to preserve the sanctity of the occasion away from public scrutiny.

Politicians Turned Dancing Guests

Among the most memorable highlights was the presence of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and then-Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. Far from being mere spectators, both leaders participated enthusiastically in the wedding rituals, danced alongside family, and even hoisted the groom onto their shoulders in a joyful display of celebration.

Batra also recalled how Parineeti surprised Raghav with a specially recorded song as part of her bridal entry, leaving the groom visibly moved. The pheras, completed in roughly 80 minutes, were described as deeply emotional, with not a single dry eye in attendance.

The couple, who first connected at a London School of Economics event, have since welcomed their son, Neer, born in October last year.
