The NCB Team Visits Shahrukh Khan And Ananya Pandey’s Home In Mumbai.
The Drug Supervisory Agency summoned Pandey to his office at 2 pm today for questioning also NCB Team Visits SRK Home.
Narcotics Control Bureau Zonal searched actress Ananya Pandey’s Mumbai home on Thursday. Central Agency phoned Ananya Pandey for questioning at 2 pm day.
The agency also visited actor Shah Rukh Khan’s home in the city hours after meeting his son Aryan Khan at Arthur Road jail in Mumbai. Aryan Khan is jailed for drug charges. The area director of the drug control bureau, Summer, explained that the agency did not attack Shah Rukh Khan’s home. Instead, he said the team went there to collect some documents about Aryan Khan.
The raid on Ananya Pandey’s home is based on several WhatsApp chats between him and Aryan Khan.
The Narcotics Control Bureau arrested Aryan Khan and seven others on October 2 following a cruise ship attack off the coast of Mumbai. The agency tell it had seized 13 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of mephedrone, 21 grams of haras, 22 MDMA (ecstasy) pills, and Rs 1.3 lakh from the ship.
Aryan Khan was initially detained by the Drug Enforcement Agency but was posted for 14 days on October 7.
On Wednesday, a special court in Mumbai refused to give him bail. Khan’s lawyers appealed to the Supreme Court, which will examine a bail motion for the actor’s son on October 26. Khan’s lawyers have repeatedly told the court that no drugs were found in his possession.
Shah Rukh’s daughter Suhana Khan and Ananya Pandey have been friends since childhood. They are often seen together at meetings also have even been filmed in IPL matches in the past. Ananya also spoke about her relationship with Shah Rukh in the past, adding that he was like her “stepfather”.
On Wednesday, Judge VV Patil of the Narcotics and Psychotropics Court rejected this argument. He said Khan knew his friend Arbaaz Merchant, who was also arrested and had drugs in his shoe at the party. The judge also said that Khan’s WhatsApp conversations showed he was regularly involved in “drug activities.”
