John Abraham and his wife Priya have been diagnose with Covid-19 and are currently quarantined at home. The actor admitted to having contacted an infected person three days prior.
Actor-producer John Abraham and his wife Priya Runchal tested positive for Covid-19 and were quarantine at home. On Monday, John shared the news on Instagram Stories, revealing that he met a Covid positive person three days ago.
He penned, “I made contact with someone three days ago who I later discovered had Covid. Both Priya and I tested positive for Covid. We’ve been quarantine at home and haven’t spoken to anyone else.”
He went on to say that they are only experiencing minor symptoms. “We were both vaccinate and only had minor signs. So please continue to be well. Put on your mask, “He continued.
John Abraham posted a message to his Instagram Story.
Several other Bollywood actors, including Mrunal Thakur, Nora Fatehi, and Shilpa Shirodkar, have recently revealed that they tested positive for Covid-19.
Arjun Kapoor, his cousin and producer Rhea Kapoor, and her husband Karan Boolani tested positive for the novel coronavirus last week. Anshula Kapoor, Arjun’s sister, was also diagnose with Covid-19.
In December, John celebrated his birthday and surprised his fans by sharing several rare photos of himself with Priya and their pets. John and Priya could be seen making amusing facial expressions in one of the photos.
In January 2014, John married Priya. However, the couple has kept their relationship mostly hidden from the public eye.
The actor was most recently seen in Satyameva Jayate 2 alongside Divya Khosla Kumar. He played three characters in the film, widely panned by critics. He will now appear in the action film Attack, which will hit theatres on January 28. Jacqueline Fernandez and Rakul Preet Singh also appear in the film.
