Will PM MODI extend lockdown period due to threat of Coronavirus?
PM Modi meeting is in last laps decision will be given tomorrow on April 14, 2020, 10 am.
The PMO is working with top government officials to decide how to go forward in this tough time. We might see more days of lockdown in India due to COVID-19. But it will be interesting to see how they set rules this time of lockdown.
On March 24 – 21 days lockdown was announced which will end tomorrow now Modi Government and states are thinking to extend a bit more for safety.
Till now if you compare the population of India, we are not doing badly. Yes, few places of Gujarat, Maharashtra, Delhi and other places are under red alert. But many places in India are still in the 1st stage, which is a good sign. We can say 21 days lockdown is in a way 75% successful for India.
To extend for few more days can hamper Indian economy but as we say in Hindi “Jaan hai to Jahan hai”. We hope India fight bravely against Coronavirus. People show some maturity by staying at home.
It will be interesting to see what will be the announcement by Prime Minister PM Modi. We think PM MODI after talking to all officials will think of an extension of lock-down looking to the situation in India.
