Did Sharad Pawar took an indirect jibe at Ajit Pawar?

Did Sharad Pawar took an indirect jibe at Ajit Pawar?

According to party chief Sharad Pawar on Sunday, some NCP members departed when the Centre began investigating them through the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

Sharad Pawar indirectly mocks nephew Ajit Pawar?

Without naming his nephew Ajit Pawar, who led the group of dissident MLAs that joined the Shiv Sena-BJP coalition last month, Pawar claimed their claim that they wanted to be a part of the administration for the sake of development was false.

“In the past, there were a few changes. Some of our members have left. They (the Ajit Pawar faction) claim to have moved for development, but this is not the case.

The Centre had opened an ED inquiry on them, and they had left the NCP. According to Pawar, some members (from the Ajit Pawar faction) were urged to join the BJP or be transferred elsewhere.

He was talking to NCP followers at a social media gathering sponsored by the party.

“However, some members were prepared to face the investigation.” Anil Deshmukh (ex-home minister) was imprisoned for 14 months. “Even Deshmukh was asked to change his role (loyalty), but he remained steadfast in his decision (not to leave NCP),” Pawar remarked.

Ajit Pawar as the Deputy CM:

While Ajit Pawar was sworn in as deputy chief minister, eight other NCP MLAs were sworn in as ministers in July.

According to the senior Pawar, the state administration should give attention to the challenges that ordinary people in Maharashtra experience.

“The state is facing issues such as unemployment, and farmers are also suffering,” he continued.
