The Mumbai Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) has made a significant arrest in the Juhu area, apprehending a foreign national allegedly in possession of MDMA, (Methyl enedioxy methamphetamine) valued at ₹3.37 crore.

Arrest Details:

The suspect, identified as Egve John, was apprehended near a prestigious five-star hotel on Juhu Tara Road. Upon his arrest, two kilograms of MDMA were recovered from his possession. Additionally, an associate of the accused, who remains at large, is also implicated in the case.

Seizure and Additional Findings:

In a coordinated operation, law enforcement officials seized an additional 250 grams of MDMA from the associate’s residence located in Nalasopara, situated in the neighboring Palghar district.

Legal Action:

A case has been registered under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, underscoring the gravity of the offense. Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation to uncover further details and apprehend any additional suspects involved in the illicit drug trade.
