JioCinema Cuts Prices for Premium Content: Different Ent Access

JioCinema, the streaming arm of broadcaster Viacom18, has announced a significant price drop for its premium content, including Hollywood movies and TV shows. 

This move aims to make quality entertainment more accessible to users across India.

Price Reduction of JioCinema: 

Previously, the subscription plans for JioCinema’s premium content were priced at ₹99 a month or ₹999 a year. 

With the latest announcement, the prices have been slashed by two-thirds, with plans now starting at just ₹29 a month. This significant reduction in price makes premium content more affordable for a wider audience.

JioCinema New Plan Features: 

The new subscription plan includes several attractive features:

• Online and offline viewing in 4K quality
• Access to movies, TV series, and kids programming
• Available in five languages
• Ad-free content
• Access to exclusive series, movies, Hollywood, kids, and TV entertainment
• Compatibility with any device, including connected TVs

In addition to the individual subscription plan, JioCinema also offers a “family plan” priced at ₹89 a month. This plan allows four simultaneous screen accesses, making it ideal for families or multiple users.

Benefits for Existing Premium Members: 

Existing JioCinema premium members can enjoy additional family plan benefits at no extra cost. 

This ensures that current subscribers can use the new pricing and features without additional financial burden.

Continued Free Access to IPL: 

It’s worth noting that the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) will continue to be available for free on JioCinema as part of the platform’s ad-supported offering. 

This ensures that users can appreciate live cricket matches without additional subscription fees.
