Main Vaapas Aaunga Crosses Rs 40 Crore Worldwide on Day 10

Imtiaz Ali’s ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga,’ starring Diljit Dosanjh, has finally found its rhythm at the box office, crossing the Rs 40 crore mark worldwide on its tenth day. The Partition drama, which faced a slow opening last week, has demonstrated strong recovery momentum through the second weekend, gaining audience appreciation and word-of-mouth support.

Impressive Sunday Spike Pushes Collection Higher

On Day 10 (Sunday), the film witnessed a remarkable 32.2% jump, earning Rs 5.75 crore across 1,971 shows. This Sunday surge brought the India net collection to Rs 24.25 crore, while the India gross reached Rs 29 crore. The film’s performance improved significantly from its opening week total of Rs 12.25 crore, suggesting strong holding power in second week collections.

Overseas Markets Contribute Substantial Revenue

International markets have been instrumental in the film’s success story. The movie earned Rs 1 crore from overseas markets on Day 10 alone, taking the total overseas gross to Rs 11.75 crore. This impressive international performance has pushed the worldwide gross collection to Rs 40.75 crore, making it a respectable performer for the Bollywood box office.

The film features an ensemble cast including Sharvari, Vedang Raina, and Naseeruddin Shah, alongside Dosanjh. Currently, ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’ competes with Homi Adajania’s ‘Cocktail 2’ for audience attention. With its steady growth trajectory and positive reception, the film appears poised for continued success in the coming days, potentially emerging as a solid performer of the season.
