PUBG Corporation and KRAFTON joined forces with Microsoft a few days ago to use their Azure platform to run multi-platform product portfolios. 

This reached as a ray of hope for many mobile gamers in India, suggesting that PUBG Mobile could make a comeback in the region.

Now the same has been confirmed. The launch of PUBG MOBILE INDIA was revealed today by PUBG Corporation and KRAFTON. The new title is said to have been made specifically only for the Indian market.

The company plans to include a “safe and secure” gaming atmosphere in addition to investments in the cultivation of local video games, esports, entertainment, and IT industries.

It keeps privacy and protection in mind, too. For this, PUBG Corporation will perform periodic storage system audits and verifications to keep the personally identifiable information of Indian users in order to improve security and ensure that their data is safely handled.

In addition, the in-game content will be enhanced and adapted to reflect local needs, while Indian players will be optimized for different aspects of the game.

This involves the game now being set in a training ground for virtual simulation, new characters starting automatically dressed, and green hit effects to represent the game’s virtual existence. 

The business will also have a function that restricts game time to encourage healthier gaming habits for younger players.

Other than this, the firm aims to develop an Indian subsidiary to boost player communications as well as services. And the Indian company would hire more than 100 employees specializing in industry, esports, and game production for this reason.

The company will aim to aggressively partner and leverage local businesses to improve its gaming operation, in addition to establishing a local office.

In order to help improve the local video game, esports, entertainment, and IT industries, both PUBG Corporation and Krafton are investing $100 million in India.
