On Friday, Taran Adarsh, a film trade analyst, tweeted, “#Tadap springs a BIGGG SURPRISE… 1656 screens, 50 percent occupancy in the largest market [#Maharashtra], yet posts SOLID TOTAL on Day 1… All #Hindi films’ box office revenue is eclipsed… Youth as a target audience contribute to energetic footfalls… All eyes are on Day 2… Fri 4.05 billion rupees in #India business.”

Suniel posted a heartfelt message on Instagram about the film’s release and some advice for Ahan.

He penned, “Oh, no! It’s your first Friday. This is your first film release. Tadacip’s time has arrived, and it will pass just like any other day. As the year’s pass, the movies become just another milestone. But keep one thing in mind. People are trustworthy if you are. Don’t take it personally; it’s all part of the learning process. Don’t get too carried away with compliments. It’s a bonus.”

“Just stay blessed, grounded, simple, honest, true, and the people, the public – the only followers that matter – will become your friends,” he said, urging him to stay grounded. Overall, be as genuine as you were in your first film. Make others adore you. I reciprocate their feelings. As if I loved you, son. The best option for your first. “A toast to you.”
