Review of Atrangi-Re: Dhanush and Sara work collaboratively

Review of Atrangi-Re: Dhanush and Sara work collaboratively

Atrangi Re-review: Sara and Dhanush are the film’s soul, while Akshay adds a Midas touch.

The film Review of Atrangi-Re: Atrangi Re, which stars Sara Ali Khan, Dhanush, and Akshay Kumar in lead roles, boasts a casting coup that can’t go wrong.

Atrangi Re truly lives up to its name. It’s a refreshingly different, one-of-a-kind love story directed by Aanand L Rai that so beautifully cuts through the clutter. It’s nothing like how we’ve imagined or seen romances on screen over the years. Instead, the film delves deeply into the relationships we hold onto, the emotions we leave behind, the denial we frequently live in, and the acceptance that comes after a lot of pain.

The story also subtly addresses the issue of mental health but never becomes preachy. Atrangi Re boasts a casting coup that cannot go wrong, starring Sara Ali Khan, Dhanush, and Akshay Kumar in lead roles. Though with energetic stars like Sara or Akshay, you might expect the story to be a bit over-the-top.

The director strikes such a brilliant balance that none of his characters overshadow each other.

Everyone shines in their roles, including Vishu’s best friend (Ashish Verma) and Rinku’s grandmother (Seema Biswas). Akshay, the superstar, lets Sara take the lead while Dhanush balances out her energy.

The plot revolves around Rinku Sooryavanshi (Sara) and Vishu (Dhanush) forcibly marrying each other.

On their way to Vishu’s hometown, they agree to take separate paths because they aren’t meant to be together and because Vishu is getting married in two days. Now appears Rinku’s love interest, Sajjad Ali (Akshay Kumar).

After the music, Atrangi Re’s screenplay is one of its main selling points. Himanshu Sharma’s writing transports you to another world where love has a new meaning. The scenes have been stitched together so that they will make you cry and smile at the same time.

Atrangi Re is free of Bollywood film cliches. It deviates from the tried-and-true formula that we typically see in love stories. It’s not our typical boy meets girl story. It’s also not about a couple who were forced to marry and then decided to give their relationship a chance. It goes far beyond what you and I could imagine.

This is Sara’s fifth film, and her versatility as an actor will astound you. The Bihari dialect she chose for the film is spot on, and she never deviates from it.
