In the first Test of the series in Mohali. Ashwin surpassed former India captain Kapil Dev’s tally of 434 wickets to evolve the country’s second-highest wicket-taker in Test cricket history. Ashwin has 442 Test wickets in 86 matches, including 30 five-wicket hauls and seven 10-wicket hauls.
