The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G Review: A Good Phone That Gets Lost In The Crowd
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G Review OnePlus and Oppo have finally teamed up to bring us phones with public technology sharing. Another thing that the brands have taken from one other is their design. The new OnePlus Nord CE 2 is based on the same design as the Oppo Reno 7 earlier this year.
The OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G Review: Compared to the Oppo device, the Nord CE 2 is far under Rs 30,000 and even under Rs 24,000 if you choose the base variant. Does the fact that the successor to the Nord CE arrived much sooner than most of us expected help the device?
NORD CE 2 DESIGN BY ONEPLUS
With its design, the Nord CE 2 improves on its predecessor. Because of this, the plastic body has been replaced with a gloss finish. However, the plastic on the sides has been preserved, and there is still no evidence of the alert slider.
The triple rear cameras are nicely positioned inside the module, with a punch-hole cutout in the top-left corner. Unfortunately, although the sensors appear to be large, their quality pales in comparison to their size (more on that later).
The USB Type C port is sandwiched between the mono speaker’s headphone socket. Just below the SIM card slot, the volume buttons are on the left.
The device has a lovely hand feel and is light, allowing most users to operate it with just one hand. Unfortunately, the chin at the bottom of the screen is thicker than we’d like. Overall, the Nord CE 2 feels like an updated device, and it’s a lot closer to what the Nord 2 offers.

OnePlus has never compromised display quality, and the Nord CE 2 is no exception. The phone has an AMOLED display. However, it does not support 90Hz, which is now standard for phones under Rs 20,000.
