Deepak Hooda (33 runs) also Axar Patel (64* runs) then led the chase, with the latter batting brilliantly in the final over.

Deepak Hooda and Axar Patel bowled very economically, and each took a wicket in the middle overs. Shardul Thakur took three wickets, while Mohammed Siraj bowled superbly, allowing less than five runs per over. Yuzvendra Chahal and Avesh Khan scored a few runs in the previous game. Arshdeep Singh could make the starting XI.
