According to a report, the Xiaomi 12 Lite5G NE could soon be release in global markets. While the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has yet to announce the handset’s specifications officially. The upcoming device has recently been spot on the IMEI database with model number 2209129SC. The Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G NE could be a rebranded version of the Xiaomi Civi 2. Which was release in China last month.
IT Home, the Xiaomi 12 Lite5G NE has appeared on the IMEI database with the model number 2209129SC. According to the report, the Xiaomi 12 Lite5G NE will be release as a rebrand version of the Xiaomi Civi 2. It is expected to become official by the end of October.
The Xiaomi 12 Lite5G NE has previously appeared on certification websites such as the FCC, IMDA, and the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC).
For the upcoming smartphone, the FCC listing suggested three configurations. 6GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. According to the listing, the phone will have 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GNSS, and NFC connectivity options.
The Xiaomi Civi 2 has a 6.55-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixel) AMOLED display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It is power by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC and can accommodate up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM. Other key specifications of the handset include a triple rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel primary camera, 32-megapixel dual selfie sensors and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The Xiaomi Civi 2 comes with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging.
