Here’s the reason behind Adipurush box office downfall
Adipurush, starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan, dropped dramatically during the week following a tremendous weekend performance.
It sank even worse on Tuesday, with Indian collections falling as low as approximately 10 crore nett in all languages.
The low statistics appear due to negative word of mouth about the film. Adipurush has been chastised for its dialogues and for adding a modern spin to the Hindu epic Ramayana.
Adipurush box office collection:
According to Sacnilk.com, the film earned only 10.80 crores in all languages in India on Tuesday, according to early figures. Following a 220 crore weekend at the domestic box office, the picture dropped to only 20 crores on Monday.
According to the production banner T-Series, the film achieved a global total of 375 crores as of Monday. And now, the Tuesday figures point to a free slide.
Following the criticism, dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir stated on Sunday that the makers would “revise some of the dialogues” and that the revisions would be integrated into the film within a week.
The bad review of the Movie:
Everyone has attacked the film, from Ramayan (TV programme) performers Arun Govil, Sunil Lahri, and Dipika Chikhlia to Mahabharat’s Mukesh Khanna.
Meanwhile, the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has written to PM Narendra Modi demanding that Adipurush be banned.
The video was dubbed a “complete disaster of our faith in Shri Ram and Ramayan” by the organisation.
“Prabhu Shri Ram is a god for everyone in India, regardless of religious faith; this movie depicts Lord Ram and even Raavan, who looks like a video game character, with dialogues that hurt every Indian in the country and around the world,” it continued.
