Avendus Capital, serving as the financial advisor for the transaction, disclosed this development.

While Avendus Capital did not disclose specific financial particulars in its statement, a report by TechCrunch suggested that the investment propelled the firm, which is backed by SoftBank, to a valuation of $5 billion.

Neither Lenskart nor Fidelity immediately responded to Reuters’ request for comment regarding the deal’s financial terms. Temasek, however, confirmed the investment but refrained from providing further details.
