Zlatan Ibrahimovic: an absolute baller, watch some of his best goals

Zlatan Ibrahimovic officially retired after an emotional farewell ceremony at the San Siro following AC Milan’s final Serie A match of the 2022-23 season.

The Swedish striker was overcome with emotion and expressed gratitude to everyone in the stadium.

Ibrahimovic has scored several world-class goals since debuting with Malmo FF in 1999, some of which are regarded as some of the best goals in football history.

With 62 goals in 121 games, the 41-year-old is Sweden’s all-time leading scorer. Known for his athleticism & flair, some of Zlatan’s goals have stunned people.

Besides Malmo and Milan, Zlatan has also played for Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, PSG, Ajax, and Manchester United. Here are some pure masterclass goals by him:

5) Backheel goal vs Italy

During Euro 2004, Zlatan demonstrated that his game was more than just long-range screamers and that he got other tricks up his sleeve.

Sweden received a corner kick against Italy, and the defenders failed to clear the ball, which fell between Zlatan and the custodian. The striker beautifully executed a backheel, which left fans shouting in shock.

4) Free kick vs Real Zaragoza

This goal is all about Zlatan’s natural skills. Barcelona received a free kick against Zaragoza, and the Swede stepped up to take it.

He hit the ball with such force from a long distance that it flew past the goalkeeper’s hands like a bullet.

3) 40-yard screamer vs Benfica

Ibrahimovic was best in a Champions League match for Juventus against Benfica. From 40 yards out, he headed the ball past a defender, controlled it with his chest, and smashed a volley right inside the near post for a magnificent goal.

2) Bicycle kick against England

Ibrahimovic made a complete mockery of England with a fantastic bicycle kick in a friendly against England when he had already secured a hattrick. Ibrahimovic scored from long range after Joe Hard made a bad clearing.

1) Solo show vs Nac Breda

Ibrahimovic received the ball near the opponent’s box while playing for Ajax against Nac Breda. Then he dribbled past a few guys before scoring past the helpless custodian.
