Last week, Google Pixel 7 Pro, powered by the second-generation Tensor G2 SoC, was unveiled in India alongside the standard Pixel 7. Users are now reporting faulty scrolling on Google’s latest flagship smartphone. According to Reddit user reports, the flagship phone’s display provides a “sticky” and inconsistent scrolling experience. Several customers are also experiencing scrolling issues in apps. The Pixel 7 Pro has a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ (1,440 x 3,120 pixel) LTPO OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Some early Google Pixel 7 Pro owners took to Reddit and Twitter to complain about issues with the phone’s display and touchscreen. The touchscreen “constantly sticks on the backstroke of your finger when flicking to scroll,” according to a Redditor. Not to mention the significant increase in keyboard fumbles while typing.” According to a Reddit user, the new Google flagship phone’s scrolling is inconsistent.

Several Pixel 7 Pro users have reported issues with app scrolling.

YouTube and Instagram appear to be among the apps affect. According to a Reddit post, when flicking right/left through an Instagram post gallery, the user must move their fingers more to get to the following picture. It moves slower than intended at times and faster at others.

The Pixel 7 Pro has a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ (1,440 x 3,120 pixel) LTPO OLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. According to user reports, the Pixel 7 Pro’s panel draws more power than expected, causing the battery to drain faster. The handset’s display consumes approximately 3.5-4W at 600 nits, roughly half the brightness levels that the display is capable of. The display consumes 6W in high-brightness mode, at around 1000 nits.

Google’s Pixel 7 Pro smartphone was recently release in India, with a price tag of Rs. 84,999 for the single 12GB RAM + 128GB storage model. It is available in Hazel, Obsidian, and Snow.
