Abhijeet Dipke, the founder of the youth-driven social media movement Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), has announced his return to India on Saturday, June 6. The Cockroach Janta Party emerged on May 16 as a satirical online campaign following a controversial observation by Chief Justice of India Surya Kant. During a Supreme Court hearing, the Chief Justice used an analogy comparing certain unemployed youth turning to activism and social media to “cockroaches.”
