Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani performs The Punjaabban Song
Sidharth Malhotra and a few of his industry colleagues joined rumored girlfriend Kiara Advani on stage to dance to her film’s song, JugJugg Jeeyo.
On Thursday, rumored couple Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani attended the Pinkvilla Style Icons Awards in Mumbai. On the red carpet, the two posed separately for photographers, but later onstage, Sidharth joined Kiara and others to shake a leg to a song from her upcoming film, JugJugg Jeeyo. Many others joined them to do The Punjaabban Song hook step, including Karan Johar, Ayushmann Khurrana, Kriti Sanon, also JugJugg Jeeyo actors Anil Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, also Maniesh Paul.
Kiara wore a shimmery purple gown on the red carpet, while Sidharth wore an orange suit.
A video from the event shows Kiara, Anil, Maniesh, and Varun from JugJugg Jeeyo standing onstage with The Punjaabban Song recreating in the background. Behind them are Sidharth, Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Ayushmann Khurrana, and Kartik Aaryan. As they all prepare to dance to the song, Karan Johar walks up to them and requests that they all do the popular hook step together. Kartik Aaryan was also spotted with them.
As the video of the moment spread online, viewers noticed how everyone danced to the song except Kartik. “Did they all help promote Kartik’s recent movie?” a viewer inquired. “I’m so glad to watch Kartik standing his ground,” said another. “For me, it is just Karthik standing where he is and not caring who arrives or not!” a fan told of Kartik being joined on stage by Karan Johar. “And Karthik didn’t even dance to the song,” said another.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 has surpassed 175 crores at the box office, according to Kartik. Kiara Advani, Rajpal Yadav, and Tabu also appear in the film. Kiara’s second film of the year, JugJugg Jeeyo, also stars Neetu Kapoor.
