Ajay Devgn will play a prisoner in Bholaa, a remake of the Karthi film Kaithi.

Ajay Devgn, best known for his intense performance in Drishyam 2, is enjoying rave reviews for his most recent release. While that is also a remake of a South suspense thriller franchise, the actor’s next film will be another remake of a popular Tamil film. Fans of the actor hoping to see him in his next film. Bholaa, were pleasantly surprised to see the actor return to his intense avatar in the film.

The teaser begins in an orphanage, where a young girl is told to get ready because one of her relatives is due to visit her.

The teaser then moves to prison, where inmates introduce Ajay Devgn as an intense and powerful man with an unknown identity. But all these inmates know is that the guy can turn people into ashes. Ajay shared the teaser on Instagram, along with the film’s tagline, which read, “Kaun hai woh… jisko pata hai, woh khud laapata hai #BholaaTeaserOutNow #BholaaIn3D.”

Readers are probably aware that Bholaa is a remake of the Karthi-starrer Kaithi, which was released in 2019.

Lokesh Kanagaraj directed the film, which is expected to be the first in the LCU gangster universe. During the PS 1 promotions in Mumbai, Karthi expressed his excitement to see Ajay reprise his role onscreen. He was quoted in a PTI report as saying, “I’m looking forward to seeing what his take will be. I’m sure he’ll make creative changes and explore it further. So I’m looking forward to seeing Bholaa.”

Ajay Devgn’s fourth directorial, Bholaa, also stars Tabu in a pivotal role. The film will be released on March 30, 2023.
