Dipke Backs Bhagwat’s Student Meet, Wants Youth to Lead It

New Delhi: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke on Tuesday welcomed RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat’s upcoming interaction with students, while suggesting the exercise would carry more weight if young people themselves were driving the discussion rather than being on the receiving end of it.

Bhagwat’s Mumbai Outreach to Gen Z and Gen Alpha

Bhagwat is set to meet students from Gen Alpha and Gen Z in Mumbai on August 6, an event expected to draw more than 2,000 students aged 15 to 19 from over 100 cities nationwide. The gathering comes just weeks after CJP-led youth protests over the alleged NEET paper leak, agitation that preceded Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation on July 25.

Speaking to reporters at his residence in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Dipke called the engagement a step in the right direction, noting that dialogue between the RSS chief and students was welcome, though he felt the effort would land better with younger faces steering it rather than acting merely as participants.

Solidarity With Jharkhand Students Over JPSC Row

Dipke also voiced support for students in Jharkhand protesting alleged paper leaks in the JPSC examinations, pointing to inadequate facilities and what he described as sustained government neglect of the issue. He backed the protesters’ demand for an independent probe led by retired High Court judges, alleging the state administration has been attempting to downplay the scale of the recruitment scandal rather than address it head-on.

The remarks add to a broader conversation this week around youth representation in India’s political and institutional discourse, with student-led protest movements increasingly shaping the national dialogue on education and employment.
