Peddi Crosses Rs 320 Crore Worldwide, Maintains Strong Momentum

Ram Charan’s sports drama Peddi continues to hold strong at the box office, proving its commercial viability as it enters the third week of its theatrical run. The film has maintained steady collections despite facing natural decline patterns observed in second-week weekdays, signaling consistent audience interest across markets.

Telugu Dominance Drives Collections

On Day 14, Peddi collected Rs 2.45 crore net in India, marking a 29% decline from the previous day—a typical Monday trend. The Telugu version emerged as the primary revenue driver, earning Rs 2.03 crore net from 2,234 shows. Hindi, Kannada, and Tamil versions contributed Rs 35 lakh, Rs 5 lakh, and Rs 2 lakh respectively. Andhra Pradesh and Telangana dominated state-wise performance with Rs 2.10 crore gross collections, while Karnataka and Tamil Nadu showed moderate contributions.

Steady Occupancy and International Growth

Occupancy rates remained respectable, with Telugu version shows registering 18.69% overall occupancy, with evening and night slots performing relatively stronger. The Hindi version, targeting North Indian audiences, recorded 10.30% occupancy. Internationally, the film added Rs 25 lakh on Day 14, taking its overseas collections to Rs 52.45 crore.

With a total India net collection of Rs 226 crore and India gross of Rs 267.75 crore, Peddi’s worldwide gross has reached Rs 320.20 crore. Set in 1980s rural Andhra Pradesh, the film’s narrative about a villager uniting his community through sports resonates strongly with Telugu-speaking audiences. Despite minor criticism regarding character development, Ram Charan’s star power continues to attract viewers, positioning Peddi as one of this year’s significant commercial successes.
