Salman Khan steps in to mediate Don 3 feud between Ranveer and Farhan

The controversy surrounding Don 3 appears to be inching toward a resolution, with Bollywood superstar Salman Khan stepping in to broker peace between actor Ranveer Singh and filmmaker-producer Farhan Akhtar. The two had reportedly fallen out over creative differences, bringing the highly anticipated film to an uncertain standstill.

According to reports by Bollywood Hungama, Salman personally called both Ranveer and Farhan, urging them to settle their differences without damaging their respective careers or the film industry at large. A source close to the development noted that Salman is genuinely fond of both parties and took time to understand each side’s position before encouraging an amicable path forward. He reportedly reminded them that creative disagreements are a long-standing reality of Bollywood, and that the bigger picture should take precedence.How the feud escalated

Ranveer Singh was unveiled as the new face of the Don franchise in 2023, stepping into a role previously owned by Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. However, the project quickly hit turbulence. Frustration over an unlocked script and repeated delays only deepened the rift, eventually leading to Ranveer’s reported exit from the project.

The fallout drew in industry bodies as well — the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) issued a non-cooperation notice against Ranveer, while Excel Entertainment sought nearly ₹45 crore in compensation for pre-production costs already incurred.
